Whether photography is your passion, your hobby, or just an occasional pastime, Surrey RCMP invites you to participate in 2011 Diversity Calendar photo contest to celebrate multiculturalism and the unique character of Surrey communities.
“Diversity - The Surrey RCMP and Community!” That’s the theme for the 2011 Surrey RCMP Diversity Calendar. Diversity Calendar Committee is now accepting your photos of how you visualize this theme. Surrey RCMP takes part throughout the year in community festivals, New Year Celebrations of various communities, sporting events, Canada Day celebration, and Surrey’s very own Fusion Festival. Inspire yourself with brilliant and bold ideas to get one of the best photos ever!
Participation is free and a number of prizes will be awarded. Surrey RCMP Diversity will select a maximum of ten best photos from all the entries and every winning photograph will be awarded $ 150 prize. There will also be a final draw of $ 300 in which all the contestants will be eligible to enter. All the participants will also receive a free copy of the 2011 Diversity Calendar. All cash prizes are sponsored by RBC Royal Bank of Canada. Winning photos will also appear in Surrey RCMP’s 2011 Diversity Calendar and the calendar will be available free of cost to Surrey residents and businesses upon request.
